Germany’s First KT160 IDROGU.

Idrogru delivered the first crane to Germany, a 160-ton KT160.29. The crane is mounted on a Scania 4-axle 32-ton free-running commercial chassis. The KT160 was chosen by a German lifting company, Marcus Transport, because it is an economical and flexible alternative in the ‘cab crane’ class due to its higher speed on the road and faster movements while working, compared to most industrial cranes. Its use is very attractive, especially within sheds where the compactness of the boom and agility of the truck is critical. Moreover, the most appreciated feature of this crane by users is the ability to extend the boom while lifting heavy loads, thanks to the independent hydraulic cylinders and special bronze sliding pads. Idrogru is a company that in its 40 years of activity has specialized in the construction of large tonnage cranes, mounted on any type of commercial trucks 3, 4 or 5 axles, always designed with priority to the possibility of free movement on all types of roads. The capacities of the current range of cranes range from 90 tons up to a maximum of 260 tons, with telescopic booms up to 40 m high (excluding lattice extension), a considerable variety compared to its competitors.
